According to Stereo Review, Roger Bobo is "the Heifetz of the Tuba." (Stereo Review). He is probably the world's best-known and most respected tuba player. He was principal tuba with the Concertgebouw Orchestra and then the Los Angeles Philharmonic for 25 years.
