Paul Hindemith: Sonata for Four Horns; Jacques-Francois Gallay: Grand Quartet, op. 26; Jay Wadenpfuhl: Tectonica for Eight Horns.

The NFB Horn Quartet -- David Kappy, Jay Wadenpfuhl, Ricardo Almeida, Bill Hoyt -- is composed of musicians who studied with the great American horn player John Barrows (1913-1974) at the University of Wisconsin in Madison. Indeed, the quartet is dedicating this recording to Barrows - "a person we love and respect as a human being, musician and horn player, in that order." The name NFB comes from a message that has great significance for the group.
